It's So Sad...

It's so sad that we are thrilled about people getting served with 10 day eviction notices.

Let me back up and explain though, before you think me (and my officers) are heartless and cruel.. We have 2 families that can't seem to keep away from each other. Family 1 is bad enough. The mother/father are always fighting. Then they have kids who are little turds (and trust me, that's being nice). Although since family 2 moved in, the mother of family 1 is fighting with that mother so much, she and her husband aren't having as many domestics.. Family 2 is your typical white trash mess... (If you remember an earlier post about the lady calling from the yard sale and her husband fighting with a neighbor, this is that family.)

Anyway, today I took a 911 call about Family 1's mom taking an overdose of pills and being suicidal. The EMS and officers get out there, turns out that family 1 AND family 2 were served 10 day eviction notices, thus the attempted suicide. My favorite medic told me that she was trying to get an IV and because this lady was being such a blank-ity blank bleep, and fighting, she had to sit on her arm to hold it still. But it doesn't end there...

30 mins later, we are called back out by the mother of family 2. She said she was going to call us because the suicidal lady had threatened her with a screwdriver. She thought that the police were out there for that. But since they weren't, she wanted to press charges against her. Are you kidding??!! Get the heck outta my town! This is one shift. They call frequently. I'm tired of them.
And yes, they have somewhere else to go. In someone else's town!
