The 911 call came in just after 2am.
An elderly female caller on the other end of the line was doing the best she could just to tell me the address in a panicked, frantic way. I could tell someone was in serious need of an ambulance. Then I heard it, the snoring sound. I hate hearing snoring respirations because it's never good. The caller stated that her husband had a seizure and then started breathing strangely.
EMS got on scene and then called for the 2nd truck. Also not a good sign. Then the officer on scene asked for another officer. This was getting worse by the second.. Then another officer went out there and every time anyone would key up and talk over the radio, there was a man heard yelling or grunting in the background. EMS was on scene for over 30mins. Usually it's less then 10mins. When they finally called en route to the hospital, the medic was extremely out of breath.. And the plot thickens...
Apparently the patient was fighting like crazy and it took 6 people to hold him down. The officer first on scene said that originally the man was down but when he went out to help bring in equipment then came back, the man was fighting and kicking. He was yelling things that didn't make sense and trying to bite the medic working on him.
It's unknown if he will live.. Stay tuned for EMS to return and tell me their side! Maybe they can explain how come the guy started fighting..
*******update: The man had a brain bleed. He is going into surgery.. I pray that God be with him and the doctors.
