Mother's Day 911R Style

To mothers everywhere, Happy Mothers Day. To my customers, leave your mothers alone! With in the last week we have gotten 2 calls regarding children living out of state that were worried about mommy dearest. The first one stated that she was on the phone with her mother when the line went dead and she was convinced that her mother had passed out since she was no longer answering the phone. When officers arrived on scene mommy was very much alive and well, she stated that she no longer wanted to be on the phone and cut the conversation off by hanging up. Then she decided not to pick the phone up when it rang again because the conversations went on to long and she had things to do. The 2nd call was a women who stated her mother's line was busy and along with multiple health issues there was possibly some domestic violence. Officers get on scene to find a male in the front yard pulling weeds and in a very calm state. He said his wife was inside taking a nap. With permission the officers went inside to find that very thing. The mom stated she took the phone off the hook to get some privacy from her daughter. Apparently we should not all be calling our mothers more than 4 times a day. So have a wonderful day in whatever way you feel like you need to! 911R
