When You Have No Hot Water...

What's your first thought? Mine would be, maybe it will warm up in a second since it's the dead of winter. Or when that didn't work, oh crap, the pilot light must be out on the water heater.

Today, it was a 911 emergency in which the women screamed at me that the water department had no right to shut off her hot water. The sad part is that I didn't even care about her screaming at me, it's that she used 911 for the water department!!! Also, in case you are wondering, if you fail to pay your bill, the water department turns off your water and that leaves you with no running water. Hot or cold.

Job security ladies and gentleman, job security. Oh, and a random thought tying this to the post about kids being not as smart these days, this particular caller had 3 little brain surgeons of her own. I can't wait for their calls...
